Kawasan Pantai Selangor achieved its ISO 9001 : 2000 in year 2000 covering the scope of Administration, Ambulance Service & Haemodialysis Service.
It was upgraded to 9001 : 2008 in year 2010 covering the same with more stringent procedure.

In 2009 State HQ achieved its ISO 9001 : 2008 covering the scope of Administration support, co-ordination of Advance First-aid, Train-the-Trainers Course & Officers' Training Course with the expectation of all Areas to streamline with State HQ.
All Areas to work towards achieving the ISO under State HQ standard, and upon achieving will then receive their respective SJAM Color.

Todate only Kawasan Pantai Selangor (KPS) received its Color in 2001 from HRH Sultan of Selangor.  
Kawasan Selangor Selatan (KSS) & Kawasan Selangor Tengah Utara (KSTU) achieved the ISO in 2011 and received their respective Color in Jan 2012 from Lord Prior - Prof. Anthony R. Mellows, during his official visit to Selangor HQ.

State HQ expects all Areas to achieve their ISO within the next 3 years so that all Areas in Selangor will have their Color thus creating another history in St. John Ambulans Malaysia.
